Our Story

Ambassador was founded in 1991 by Lucia Wilberding, a native Spanish speaker with a BS in Business Administration from Indiana State University. She started interpreting and built up a team of interpreters around the United States to provide this needed service.  A few years later her husband Keven joined the team and added transportation services to the mix.  These services go hand in hand with patient needs and Ambassador has been happy to provide a comprehensive paring of services.

I came to the U.S. as a teenager to study English back before there was google translate and cell phones. It was incredibly difficult. From all its trials I saw the importance that bridging language gaps can have on a diverse community, so I vowed to help others feel at home in a foreign place by providing interpretation services.
